QuestionI have a nice Zoysia back lawn, but right now, I have patches of blue grass, tons of onion sprouts and a green hue of some other type of weed. First, can I put a a grass kille on the blue grass withoug ruining the zoysia, and what is the best way to get rid on onion like sprouts.

"Weedkillers do not forgive" is a maxim in the trade; and you will not forgive me if I helped you to kill your desirable plants.
Ask your County Agent to help with the identification of the weed.
He might even give you a solution that is more relevant to Austin than any that I give you from here in Florida.
