Powdery Mildew

Question
CJ: I have a new lawn as of last fall.  I have not watered it this spring as we been very lucky with nice moderate rain fall. I have absolutely no shade in areas that are effected.  The soil is not the best, what can I do to get this under control?  I am planning on putting my weed/feed application on  this weekend. Should I hold off with the application?

Answer
Powdery Mildew is one of those "diseases" that's not much to worry about. It creates that powdery stuff on the grass, but eventually goes away on its own without leaving much damage.

I don't recommend that you worry about this, or even treat it at all. It'll run its course and go away on its own.
