poor drainage

Question
I was curious to see what tree I can plant that loves water. The tree that I am looking for has to be no more than 20 foot tall, deer resistant, and flowering if possible.  My problem is that when it rains long and or hard, the end of my yard in areas stays wet for a few days after the rain.  I would like to correct the drainage problem with a new tree so I don't have to put a drainage system in.
Sincerely Joe Daggett

Answer
Dear Joe,

Without knowing where you live, I can't give you any specifics - it's too contingent on the local climate.

However, here's a link to a list of trees that love "wet feet".  It's a great idea to use a moisture loving tree to help drainage issues.
