Vegetables in the house?

Question
I got a gift that was a grow a tomato in the house kit. Well it seems to be doing very well, but I do not know if the flowers just die and fall off. Is this normal? I live in The Netherlands and in an apartment. There is very little sunlight, but this plant is 18" tall.  Do you think I can still get cherry tomatos from it?

Answer
Dear Louise,
I am fairly new to raising tomatoes indoors.  We have had moderate success with various peppers and herbs and spices, but I do know tomatoes need some light to ripen.  If the blooms are falling off, there should be little bitty and I do mean small tomatoes at the point where they fell.  The blooms do fall off outdoors when the fruit begins to "make."  I wish I could tell you more, but for now, that's just all I have.  If the plant is looking healthy, just watch and see what happens.  I hope you get to enjoy tomatoes soon.
Kind Regards,
Kindred
