Sweet Pepper Plants

Question
I am in NC.  I planted several varieties of sweet peppers, however, they are very slow to grow (planted in May).  Two plants have taken off and have grown quite large, however, the flowers keep falling off and I noticed the leaves appear thick and bubbled looking with the edges of the leaves curling.  What is the cause and how can I correct these problems?

Answer
Laura:

It seems like you have two problems. Check the underside of the leaves for aphids. Spray with freindly Sevin.

The blossom drop is most likely a fungus. Spray with a good fungicide. After this try some hormone on the plants to help the blossoms develop.

Best wishes.

Don
