Object of Desire: Tool Belt from Wheeler Munroe

North Carolina leather crafter Wheeler Munroe has a workshop on a west-facing slope in the high mountains of Ashe County. There she and partner Michael Waldeck spend their time making maple syrup—and last-a-lifetime gardeners’ tool belts with a cult following:

Flower farmer Erin Benzakein sells a customized version of the Farmer Florist Belt (available for purchase via her Floret Flowers garden shop); the belt has “room for both heavy-duty pruners and flower snips or scissors, a cellphone, a pen and pencil and a rose stripper or hand trowel,” says Benzakein; $165.
