Vigorous and stately shrub growing 5 feet tall with a 4-foot spread. The vigorous plants cover themselves with masses of deep pink and highly fragrant old-fashioned blossoms. The flowers have a rich fruity old-rose fragrance with a hint of raspberry. Good disease resistance. Named to commemorate a beautiful hose at Twickenham, build by Horace Walpole, the youngest son of the first British Prime Minister, Sir Robert Walpole.
