Flowers Can Cheer You Up

It's hard not to break when life's giving you the short end of the stick. Growing up, the hard realities of life seems so unreal, with your parents crouching on all fours trying to keep you protected at all times. It's a sweet gesture, but sometimes it's better when you're ready when the ball doesn't land in your court.

It's not always sunshine and daisies, you can't grow up not knowing that happy endings are a cruel joke contrived to make you feel happy and hopeful in this lifetime. It's hard to fall when you don't know how to put yourself back together.

Life is what you make it

Life may not be fair, but still, the courage to rise above such deep pain and sorrow can help you grow as a person. It toughens you up and makes you feel ready for the inevitable hurdles of life.

Learn from your family and friends. The advice that they can give from their past experiences can help you device your own support system, it can even help you avoid the trappings of another downturn.

Laugh it off.

Live and learn to laugh it off. It's just what it is, a phase and a test of character. Try and think about it this way, you survived it. It's a story worth telling as time gets by, and surely, as depressing as it sounds, it may not be the last.

The fact is, you can be sure that it will wear off, as life is just a cyle of mixed emotions. Sometimes you're in a deep pit of troubles and woes, and the next thing you know you're elated about a great accomplishment in your life.

Flowers can brighten your day

As simple as it may sound, the beauty of nature truly does wonders in your outlook in life. No matter how bad the day might turn out to be, the vivid colors of flowers and the beauty of the environment you're around with, can make you feel a little less agitated and more hopeful about the outcome of the day.

So why not try and keep yourself a little box of happiness and hope at your home? Pick up a couple of bouquets of flowers at your local florist's shop, or maybe even a few seeds to grow in your yard. There's nothing wrong with having your little place of heaven close at bay.
