Bob notices suddenly that he does NOT have a green thumb. In fact, it is a decidedly pinkish-brown color, sort of the same color as a dead plant. THAT explains a lot!

Just 6 months of water, a little fertilizer and very little else and Bob has the largest, healthiest mass of weeds in the entire neighborhood... and gardening was supposed to be hard work!

Bob watches Dave's new video on controlling weeds hoping to get some pointers on the proper use of his impressive arsenal of toxins, but he is disappointed. However, there was an interesting blurb on torching weeds that caught his attention.

Bob decides to act pre-emptively this year and get the annoying magnolia leaves raked up BEFORE they fall on the garden below.

Bob admires his impressive collection of spines: Opuntia, Dasylirion, Echinopsis, Euphorbia, Agave... even a bit of Lantana and Echium thrown in for good meaure- the largest and most painful spine collection in the entire neighborhood
