Tropicanna being eaten by something

Question
Help - my Tropicanna leaves are being eaten by something. It's in a screened in pool area in Florida, been in the ground for over a month and the last 2-3 days, something is eating the leaves, looks like perfectly preforated bullet holes - the nursery where I got it has no idea.  I can e-mail photos -
please advise, thanks, Lauren

Answer
Do you have rollie pollies, slugs or snails?

It sounds like they are doing the damage.  I get that on my hosta alot.

If so set out a shallow dish of beer level with the soil for a day or two.  You should catch the culpret this way.  The beer baits and drowns them.  There are also several sprays available.

Happy Growing
Kristina
