Wintering Tree Roses

QUESTION: What is the best way to winter a tree rose that is planted?

ANSWER: It depends on what part of the States you are growing the rose in. There is a cut off in regards o saving the tree rose and it should b laid flat an covered with soil. Many people use bubble wrap (the large bubble kind) around the top and tied at the base of the top below.

Answer
The top of the tree rose will have to be protected. You can cover the top with bubble wrap and tie it right under the base of the top. Then also tie the top tight so no water or snow can get in. I would also ask a person in your area that grows roses and what they do to protect a tree rose.
