bleeding heart glorybower

Question
clerodendrum thomsoniae - just purchased in 5 gal pot.  Plant about 3 ft tall/3 ft wide. I'm in Georgia & would like to know if I can plant in the ground or should I leave in pot.  If I plant in the ground how should I mulch to protect in winter - do I cut back?  Having hard time finding info on this vine.  Would love to use in my garden - very shady yard & this is a very pretty plant.  Thank you for your assistance.

Answer
Hi Cindy,
Thanx for your question.  This is a tropical vining shrub and must be brought in for the winter.  It makes a great tub plant.  Cindy do a search on Google.com and type in Clerodendrum thomsoniae.  I found a lot of different information that might be helpful to you there.
Tom
