Yellow Perennial

Question
I have seen a perennial that is tall with yellow
buttercup like flowers clustered at the top.  They
seem to multiply and they seem to be everywhere but when I stop and ask nobody seems to know what the name of it is.  One lady thought it was goose something.  They are in flower beds, kind of tall, with yellow buttercup like flowers at the top.  They all seem to be in full sun.  Can you help me?

Answer
Hi Nancy,
Thanx for your question.  I apologize for not getting back to you sooner.

The plant sounds like linaria vulgaris also known as wild snapdragon or butter and eggs plant.

Here is a link at USDA to see a pic.

I hope this helps.
