Hi

I have two orchids and I was wondering if I could re-pot them in the same pot as I dont have much room on shelves to put them. I was given these last year and when the flowers died off I cut down the stems and put them in my greenhouse out of the way. I have just noticed that they both have new buds and would like to bring them back indoors. Thank you

You could pot them in the same pot, but if they have flower buds, this would not be the appropriate time.  You should wait until after flowering.  I'm assuming they are the same type of orchid and therfore require similar growing conditions.  When you do repot, make sure that you use fresh potting mix and that there is sufficient room in the pot to accommodate the combined root mass.
