Answer
Angela,

The most common reasons for houseplants dying is too much water and not enough light. Plants that require indirect light still need bright enough light that on a sunny day they will make a shdow where they are sitting. If they don't you need to move them to a brighter location or open the blinds.

For watering you should be watering most plants indoors once a week during the summer and once every 2 weeks during the winter. They need to be dry down at least an ich for small plants or 2-3 inches for large plants before being watered. You should never have a plant in a pot that does not have a drain hole and a drain tray under it. You should empty the drain tray an hour after you water your plants. Most of your plants are not swamp plants and if you leave water in the drain tray the roots will begin to rot and the plant will die.

I believe the little tan or yellow balls in the white flowers are the stamens, part of the flower itself, and perfectly normal.  If you move your massangeana to a brighter location, it can sit in an east window and get morning light and it will be fine and make sure it is dry before you water it I am sure it will grow fuller over the next 6 months. Good luck with all your plants.
