PPM Damage

Question
Hi! When I first got my Sarracenia Minor it was in perfect condition, but after
about two or three months of giving them hard water I found out that all
carnivorous plants cant handle hard water. I immediately took action and
placed them in standing distilled water. They are doing good now, but it's
been almost a year and they are very thin and don't look nearly as large nor
are they anywhere near as tall as they used to be. So my question is: will my
Sarracenia ever completely recover from hard water damage, or do I just have
to be patient? I am a bit rushed at the moment, so if it would help you out, I
could send you a follow-up with a picture sometime later. For now, I've got to
go!

Answer
Hi Kevin,

If you haven't done so already, go ahead and transplant the plant into fresh media.  This will remove any residual mineral accumulation in the soil.  After that just give it time.  Sarracenia minor is a bit slow growing sometimes anyway.

Good Growing!
