Leaf curl Citrus Trees

Question
A lemon tree 2 years old is filled with blossoms but has considerable leaf curl, must spraying be delayed until the blossoms set into fruit or now? March Florida

Answer
Hi Ray,  Your leaf curl is probably the leaf minor that hits the citrus in FL during the summer.  Leaves should be coming out beautiful now that it is cooler.  I use Atomic Grow on my citrus and they look lush and beautiful.  The product is made from food which is far better than poisoning one self.  It is sprayed on and makes the fruit sweeter as it raises the sugar content in the fruit.  Use a good slow release fertilizer and maybe once or twice a year give it some epsom salts to give it minor nutrients that our soils are missing.  Happy gardening kathy
