WEEPING WILLOW FUNGAL CANKER DISEASE

Question
I HAVE A MATURE YELLOW WEEPING WILLOW WHICH HAS BEEN INFECTED WITH SOME TYPE OF FUNGAL "CANKER" DISEASE. IT INVOLVES THE CANKERS ON THE BRANCH SYSTEM (I HAVE REMOVED 90  OF THEM)AND ALSO SIGNIFICANT INVASION OF THE TREES BASE ROOT SYSTEM (I HAVE REMOVED APPROXIMATELY 90 OF THE INVADING FUNGI AND REPLACED WITH FRESH TOPSOIL). I TREATED THE BASE WITH A COMBINATION OF A BORDEAUX SOLUTION AND A WIDE SPECTRUM FUNGICIDE. I ALSO PRUNED ALL DEAD OR DYING BRANCHES. THE LEAVES ARE NORMAL AND SEEM UNAFFECTED. UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE FOUND SMALL CANKERS ON SEVERAL NEWLY DEVELOPED BRANCHES.
I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR ADVICE AND SUGGESTIONS FOR FURTHER TREATMENT

THANK YOU.

Answer
Hi Tom,  Wow you poor tree has gone through allot for sure.  The only thing I can suggest is a product called Atomic Grow which is totally organic and can help heal your tree back to health.  It is a brand new product that is getting amazing results, even for healthy plants to keep them that way.  Check out the site for more information.  kathy
