chipmunks in the garden.

Question
I have a vegetable garden surrounded by rabbit fencing in a rural area.  We have one or more chipmunks who have eaten all the peas and blueberries and we are afraid will start on the other produce.  Is there any way to keep these critters out of the garden.  The go through the fence and also tunnel under.  They seem unfazed by pepper spray on the plants.

Answer
Hi Mary

Cats are the best chipmunk control i know.  You might try a small cage type live trap in the garden baited with peanut butter if you just want to relocate them. Wrapping news paper around it to look tunnel like may help attract them. Also works for rabbits.
