tomatillo garden

Question
hello Charlotte,

i don't really have a specific question, i'm really just looking for tips on the organic/permaculture way of cultivating tomatillos.

my idea so far is to grow them in raised beds planted in tires within a greenhouse enclosure to retain warmth. i plan on using horse manure, seaweed, leaves and straw in the soil mixture.

i'm looking for more info on soil prep., companion planting, fertilization, watering and greenhouse recomendations all in the context of tomatillo cultivation.

i realize this is a broad question and if it's too time consuming for you could you please direct me to towards a good info site.

i'm really interested in permaculture/organic gardening and having everything work together in my garden.

any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

thank you very much,
marty

Hi Marty;
GGRRRRRRR!!! I answered this this afternoon, and it said it posted, but now it is gone.
RATS!
Anyway, I tried looking up tomatillos, and got nothing except that they are prolific producers. I searched for organic greenhouse gardening, and get several sites for you to check out. I will try to find them again.
