How can I kill centipede grass without killing St. Augustine?

Answer
Centipede is a low maintenance, smaller leaf grass than St. Augustine.
There aren't any good answers to you problem apart from allowing the St. Augustine grass to grow taller than the centipede and shading it out. Centipede does not grow well in shaded areas.
