Question
I'm planning a raised flower bed around our screen pool enclosure and would like to border the bed with natural stone. I've shopped around some dealers and they sell the stone only by weight. I haven't been able to find in any of my research how to determine the amount (by weight) that I should be purchasing. I can figure the square footage need, but that doesn't help me determine how much to order.

Hello:

You have to determine how many cubic feet of stone you need. The stone is sold by weight but in what dimensions? It is either in cubic feet or cubic yards.
