Do any pruning right after flowering to avoid cutting next year's flower buds off. Do not prune now (it is too late).

Generally, most azaleas do not need pruning. They are best left alone. You can cut back dead wood at any time of the year. You can also prune to remove crossing branches or to direct new growth to open up bushes, but generally, these are not plants which require a lot of pruning.
