This is one of the coveted blue corydalises. It produces whorled clusters of sky-blue flowers on 18-inch tall plants.
Noteworthy Characteristics:
Blooms in the spring, goes dormant with the onset of summer's heat, and then may return in autumn to bloom once again.
Care:
Prefers partial shade and moderately fertile, well-drained soil.
Propagation:
Sow seed when fresh; germination may be erratic. Divide in fall.
Problems:
Downy mildew, rust, aphids, slugs, snails; spider mites indoors.
