Young Lycidas

Young Lycidas

Young Lycidas

A handsome plant growing up to 4 feet with a 3-foot spread. The very large old-fashioned blossoms are a please blend of deep magenta, pink and red with a halo of light purple. The flowers are presented singly or on small clusters that nod pleasingly on the vigorous stems. The blossoms have up to 50 petals and are perfumed with a delicious tea that ages to old-rose and even cedar. Variety was named for the 400th anniversary of the British Poet John Milton's poem 'Lycidas'. Good disease resistance.
