QuestionI have a small avocado tree growing about five feet from my house. Is that too close? Also, the soil is sandy in quality; what kind of fertilizer do you suggest. After reading your answer to another question I'll plant another avocado seed in my yard. Thanks for that info.

Five feet is a bit close to the house but it will probably be ok. If you could dig it up and move it, that would be better. At least 10 feet away from the house. Use fertilizers rted for fruiting trees. You should be able to find spike fertilizer and other fruit tree fertilizer at your local nursery or DIY Store. Follow the directions on the package.
