Pond Float

Question
Can you tell me how to turn off the auto fill float in my pond?

Thanks so much.

Answer
I don't know how yours is setup.  Is it attached to a spigot that you can turn off?  It's got to have a source somewhere where you can turn it off.  What about taping or tying up the float so it things the pond is always full?

I've never used an auto fill myself since I'm on a well with limited water.  That would have been a problem twice when my pond went nearly empty because a mastiff rearranged the waterfall so it drained the pond.  It's good to know if your pond is losing water which you may not know if it's always auto-filling.

Good luck!
