Overall   We recently bought a house on St Corix, USVI, and are busily  trying to identify the plants -- many of them need to GO, but we want to know which ones to keep.  Enclosed is a picture of a plant that is growing on the hill behind the house -- seems to like dry conditions -- evergreen, glossy leaves -- and neighbor has one that is about 20 ft tall.  Can you help identify it?

Hi Tom..variegated Yucca...cut a piece off it and stick it in the ground and you will have a new plant!..almost carefree, and can be cut back to your hearts content with no danger of killing it; that plant to the right of it is an ornamental Fig....Nick
