Oncidium orchids not blooming

Question
I have had two oncidiums (red fantasy & sweet sugar) for 2 years and the plants had many blooms when I purchased them.  Although they seem to receive adequate light and moisture and look healthy, I am stumped as to why they have not bloomed since.

Any advice would help!  Thanks.

Answer
Hello Elizabeth,

The reason your oncidiums have not bloomed for you is probably not enough light.  What is the color of the leaves?  Dark green, medium green or light green?  Oncidium leaves should be a light to medium green color when receiving good light levels, dark green would indicate not enough.  If possible, grow them outdoors under 50% shade when temperatures remain above 50篎.

Hope this helps.
