drooping Crassula

Question
Hi Darlene,
Have you ever had a Jade Plant just droop over?
Mine is 18" tall, healthy, growing, but some of the trunks just fell over to the side.  Is it  because it is too top heavy with leaves?  Please advise.  Thanks!

Answer
Halla,

Yes, I have had them droop.  It can be caused by several things.
1. Too little light so the branch weakens.
2. Too little water in which case you can water it and it will perk up.
3. As you said it is too top heavy with leaves in which cas a littl pruning can solve the problem.

I have caused the problem to occur on purpose to help shape the plant and give it a "cascade " shape.

I'm sure it is still a healthy plant.  Good luck.
