indoor calla lily

Question
I have a calla lily with the most beautiful yellow colored flower I have ever seen. I put a little 20-20-20 fertilizer in with the water to help force another flower and it sits on a window sil where it get bright light. It is firm and crisp, however, since I added the fertilizer the flower is changing color to green. How can I restore the vibrant yellow color that allured me to it? Thanks for your help.....

Answer
Hi Ellen,

Your Calla flower is going through its normal progression from yellow to green before it finally fades altogether. Your using fertilizer was just coincidental and not the cause of the color change. There is nothing you can do to restore the color.
