dracena marginata

Question
Hello.

I have several dracena marginata, which I've tried to bifurcate by the usual cropping. Each time I do it, however, instead of the cropped stem splitting, as is common, into three, it only grows one again.

Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,
Dax

Pictures of what you are doing would help to see what you are doing wrong...
It should double sprout (or more) after you make an angled cut just above a growth nodule on a stem...Only do one stem at a time for best results...
Hope this helps...
