Diseases on Azalias

Question
We have been given an Azalia by our grandchildren as an anniverary gift.

We now find the leaves have a "silvery" look about them.
- the leaves are no longer looking green and healthy.

Can use advise what the problem is and how can it be treated?

p.s. we have just repotted the plant (today) using a special Azalia potting mix.

Answer
Get a magnifying glass and look on the underside of the leaves and look for insects.  There are a couple of insects such as spider mites and lace bugs that are hard to see.  If you see anything respond back and I can give you advise on how to treat the insects.  Otherwise, since you just repotted the plant, it may have been experiencing lack of fertilizer in the previous pot.  If the potting mix you used does not have fertilizer in it, go get some Azalea plant food.  It has to be Azalea and Camellia plant food, nothing else will work.  Fertilize the plant lightly and do not overdo it.  Wait a week or two and then if things are not better, respond back and we can try something else. Thanks.
