I do not think the spots are contagious, but do watch for spread to other leaves. The leaves are pale green with darker green veins- this is an indication of root stress- maybe nutritional- maybe too much/not enough water- or even a root disease. If possible, take a look at the roots- look for good color-not blackened or crumbling roots.
