Lilly/deer

Question
Hey Dan, we have/had a bed of mixed lillys of about 10x10 only to find all the heads/blooms gone one morning leaving nothing but the stalks.  We're assuming deer did the damage...does that make sense...would deer eat the heads off lillys?  If so, any suggestion to avoid this next year?  Thanks, jw

Answer
Hi Joe

Yes that sounds like deer.  They seem to enjoy eating flowers.  I see that in the wild as well.  I make the best solution that I know for keeping deer away from large areas.
Here is my info site.  Print it out to save it since I will be moving it soon and don't have the new address yet.

For a small area such as yours, you could fence or cover it with mesh netting I suppose.  It's not food so you might also use a spray on repellent.  Try googling "deer repellent" to see these types of products and you can compare cost and time to what I offer.  You can reach me for further questions either here or through my email given at the info site.  My email will stay the same.  Dan
