Making casket Spray

Question
I want to make a casket spray for a funeral and I have never done it before.  This was a very special person to me and I don't have $$ to contribute. What do I need, How much (approx) will it cost and how difficult is it.

Answer
I am sorry I just received this today, or I would have answered sooner.  My condolences to you.  To do a spray, the easiest way is to use the commercial saddles ($7)available at any wholesaler.  If you can't get those, a plastic design bowl will work, but you will need a little piece of putty to keep the arrangement from sliding.  I find that drapey greens, like asparagus fern($12 for two large bunches) work best for a soft covering.  This way, too, the greens provide the base of the design and you can use far fewer (and more expensive - I would allow $30) flowers.  Again, my condolences and hope this helps.
