floral color and type of flower

Question
QUESTION: I need your help. I want to know what type of flowers and floral colors would go well with a gold, ivory and silver/grey theme? Thanks in advance

ANSWER: Types of flowers are difficult, as I don't know what look you are trying for... that being said; in the color palate you mention I would count the following:  Ivory roses, artemesia foliage (lambs ear aka stachys, also), Graham Thomas roses, Golden Yarrow, gardenia, delphinium in pale blue and/or ivory, ivory hypericum berry, white pine greenery, blue spruce greenery, white wax flower, solidago, etc.  A great source is to simply google "ivory cut flower", for example, and see what comes up.  If you want to give me more information, I would be happy to customize a list for you!  Happy Thanksgiving!

QUESTION: Thanks for responding to my request. I would like for you to customize a list of colors that I can incorporate with a blue-silver, ivory and gold. I'm just not sure what colors of flowers and choice of flowers would accent these colors. I hope this is a little more info and I thanks you again for your help. I'm hosting a elegant sit down dinner for a 60th birthday party.

Answer
Ivory:  Ivory Roses, Casablanca Lily, White Delphinium, White Hypericum Berry, white tulip, Celosia,
Silver/ Blue: Delphinium, cornflower, lisianthus, stachys, hydrangea, agapanthus, lavendar

I would use either crystal lined in moss, or perhaps a mercury glass container.
You can add gold and silver metallic accents with sprayed twigs, as well.

Hope this helps!
