clear vase arrangement

Question
How could I or should I cover the view of the flower stems in a crystal vase of Gladiolas?  I was planning a center piece for a bridal shower.  Thanks

Answer
Hi Deborah, its Trish from Grand Lake Flowers.  I am going to ask you a little more information.  Why do you want to cover the stems?  Is it because you don't like a natural look or because of a different reason?
I cover vases with a nice piece of expensive looking material, bring it up on tne sides and use a rubber band to hold, adding a nice ribbon for
a embellishment. We use tulle for this sometimes to soften the look.   If your using real crystal I don't know I would do this.  Another thing we do is use different kinds of fake rocks, ice,
marbles that give a nice look you can buy at at craft store.  IF you set your arrangement  on a mirror it will
make a better presentation.  Also if you use good lighting it will show up great.  Hope this helps! Trish
