using wet foam to make an arrangment

Question
I have to make a centerpiece on a 32 inche trumpet vase using fresh roses, poeny and curley willow, I would love it to be large, what is the best wet foam to use and how do I secure form to the vase? does the flowers stay on the foam when you stick it in? if not how can I secure the flower to the foam? can I use floral adhesive spray to secure it or will a oasis corso holder be a better idea please help me I want this to be just right? thanks for all the help you give to me and every body else.

Answer
Hello,

You can use OASIS brand wet foam, and to affix it, simply use thin floral tape - the vinyl one intended for wet applications.  Put together the mechanics when dry and then soak the foam once it's already in the vase.

Use a large enough piece to have at least three inches on stem in the foam to ensure the floral material will stay put.

If the foam shows, you can use sheet moss to disguise it.

Good luck!
