•    Sunday, May 3rd 10am, Tree Planting Basics presented by Brian Dold, Landscape Architect 
 
Brian will demonstrate the proper way to plant a tree. Please join us to learn how to give your tree a good start this spring.

•    Saturday, May 9th 10am, Bonsai:Part 2 presented by Glenn Morton. 
 
This demonstration will show the basic for potting and repotting bonsai including root pruning, pot preparation, potting aesthetics and general after-care of the tree.

•    Saturday, May 16th 2pm. presented by Jessica Grigorenko – Square Foot Gardening. 
Want to learn to grow vegetables, but don’t know where to start? Are you afraid that your yard is too small? Square foot gardening is a hassle-free, time saving method of organic gardening. You can grow tons of vegetables in an area as small as 4′ by 4′.  Learn about space saving methods such as raised beds, vertical gardening, and intensive planting.  Participants will learn about local resources, bed building, and practice seed spacing methods in the workshop.
