Urban Roots is excited to announce a new event this fall. In collaboration with Richard Price of Fairie Seeds, Urban Roots will be hosting our first ever Seed Saving Exchange. This event will take place on Saturday, September 14th at 2pm at Urban Roots at 428 Rhode Island Street. In order to participate in the Seed Saving Exchange, you must have attended the Seed Saving Workshop scheduled for Saturday, August 10th at 12 Noon. Attending the workshop is required in order to guarantee that the seeds being exchanged have been saved using the proper technique. Seed saving is vital to maintaining a diverse food supply.
